Yes, I am committed to using only 100% natural and non-GMO ingredients. All of my base ingredients (flour, sugars, eggs, butter) are always organic. For seasonal/additional ingredients I strive to use organic when available, and will substitute with non-GMO if needed. Vegan butter and egg replacers are non-GMO (instead of organic) due to availability. I have high standards for the food I consume and what I bake for you is no exception. Yes! Many varieties are vegan, or are offered in both traditional and vegan options. Look for the (V) in the menu title.

A ghost kitchen is a food service business that functions as a delivery-only operation. Typically, there is no physical store front or retail space. Also known as virtual or cloud kitchens, these restaurants or bakeries offer food delivery by popular delivery apps and/or through their own delivery service. Burrow & Hearth is a ghost kitchen bakery located in Bergen County, NJ offering both local doorstep delivery and domestic shipping.

Some offerings will be pre-orders and the shipping date will be noted in the product listing. Other items are ready-to-ship and will also be noted in the product listing, these items will normally ship within a few days. You will also receive an email once your order has shipped.

There are a few options for shipping speeds ranging from 1-7 days. I do recommend choosing a speedier option during warmer months or if you live in a warm climate year-round.

As they are 100% natural they are best enjoyed once received. Standard room temperature storage is normally satisfactory, however I personally prefer anything with chocolate to be chilled in the refrigerator. And if you're not ready to indulge just yet, you can freeze them for up to a few months.

As policy, perishable items are non-returnable and non-refundable. If you receive an incorrect or damaged order, please contact me as soon as possible.

I do not bake in an allergen-free environment. While I do offer vegan options, all products are baked in the same kitchen. Menu items may contain or come into contact with wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and/or soy. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific product or ingredient, just reach out!
